I don’t know if my opinions of this mouse are off because I’ve spent my whole life working with corded and wireless office mice with the customizability/functionality of a cinderblock, but this thing rocks! I’ve never used a mouse with software so I have nothing to compare it to, but it is a fine software that lets you customize EVERY button on the mouse (including the left and right buttons). It goes up to 8000 DPI as promised, and I love the three central buttons for DPI changing and for changing the polling rate. I see no reason to ever change the polling rate so I’ll customize that to something else. The fire button is great for quick-opening drive files or anything else that needs a quick double-click, though I haven’t tested it in a game yet. I got the wireless version which is already pretty good (I love that the wireless adapter can fit snugly into the bottom of the mouse in its own locked compartment, really smart!). But the cable they sent with it for charging is awesome too! It’s a really awesome braided cable that isn’t stiff at all, and I feel no tug or friction from it. It’s as if it’s not there, and honestly, I’d be fine using this mouse as a wired one full-time.Lastly, this thing just looks cool, the LED customization is pretty good with plenty of options and an infinite amount of color choices, though the LEDs won’t easily display the more vague colors. It has a nice rubberized grip on the thumb side which is really comfy, and it’s a great quality-of-life addition. The LED bars going along the sides of the mouse are stylish, and in general, the LEDs of this mouse are not overbearing at all like many of the other gaming mice in the market at this price range. It also has some nice skates at the bottom that let it glide super smoothly. One small issue though, and this is to be expected, the mouse gets messy, and fast. The plastic just displays oils like crazy, and you don’t have to even be eating anything, your skin oil will show up just fine. But for this price, it’s a quality build and that is just to be expected. Great value overall, would buy again!

I have been struggling for a while now to find a good mouse for work. I know I’m not the target audience for this mouse with it being a gaming mouse! I have tried a range of difference brands of mice (Dell, Logitech etc) and the problem I kept finding (that was hard to describe to people) was that these mice felt very unresponsive and jumpy (IE the cursor not moving to small mouse movements even with high DPI set). It was making me really unproductive and frustrated with using my computer – not great when it’s my 9-5!I gave this mouse a go after reading some of the reviews and I was not dissapointed. This mouse has been an absolute gamechanger and I would highly recommend for anyone who uses a computer for work who is frustrated with big brand clunkiness and unresponsiveness. The mouse is fraction of the price to what I paid for the other mice and boy I cannot recommend it enough!Thank you Redragon for producing such a good mouse at a very fair and competitive price.

The tracking is excellent and the ability to fine tune both the DPI and the transmission rate through its onboard buttons and even FINER using the mouse’s companion software was a very helpful surprise. I find the extreme of 8000 DPI far too sensitive for gaming, but I also have 3 large monitors where that boost keeps my mouse from falling off my deskpad when I need to drag the mouse from the left of one screen to the right of the furthest screen.Since there are three connection modes; wired, bluetooth and RF transmitter, you can connect up to three devices at one time and switch between them using the signal switch on the bottom. This is really useful if you have a laptop open beside your gaming rig for streaming or other things going on and you can’t twist your body reach the trackpad for whatever reason. Having a bluetooth keyboard like I do that also has multi-device connectivity also helps with this. PLEASE NOTE: The mouse prioritizes the hard connection, so if the mouse is plugged in, no matter what the signal switch is turned to, it will only give inputs to the machine that the USB cable is plugged into. It also may take a couple of seconds after the mouse is disconnected to automatically switch into bluetooth or RF mode, depending on how familiar the devices are with one another at that point. In either wireless mode, bluetooth or 2.4g RF, the battery lasts a really really long time and the mouse has a sleep timer that you can adjust in the software so that it isn’t constantly using its power to light up.The only problem with the wireless modes I’ve encountered is that if it has gone fully to sleep after a few consecutive minutes of inactivity it might take a couple of seconds to wake back up and take control of the cursor when it’s time to get back to it. There’s also the possibility of the signals being interfered with or dropped by your machine in certain circumstances such as too many bluetooth devices being connected at once. Because of this, while the wireless modes are incredibly responsive and usable for casual gaming with the added ability to control your signalling rate in the software, you’ll want to have it connected by USB during competitive play of any kind to avoid any kind of interference with your movement/aiming.
